Still Playing with Toys Presents was originally published and released in October of 2007. It introduced our first two flagship stories: Only in Dreams and Angel XRC.
Only in Dreams - We know, we know, we've heard you walking out of the movie theater sayin', "They just don't make 'em like they used to." What happened to the big high conecpt comedies with the Oingo Boingo music and the rockin' montage as the heroes start their journey?
Taking the light-hearted feel of the movies that you've come to know and love, Only in Dreams follows three college seniors who turn their thesis into a profitable franchise when they open the world's first nightmare prevention program. Using homemade technology, the boys are able to tap themselves into the subconscious ot their patients and actually enter their dreams... and help them conquer their recurring fears!
Angel XRC - In the post apocalyptic future, a tired and worn Xeriv City has been plagued with rebellion against the ruling government. Lt. Jacob Axebry, a seasoned veteran of the XRC (Xeriv Resistance Control) is about to become wrapped up in something far greater than he could possibly imagine. And worse, he'll have to work with the sexy and dangerous resistance leader he was ordered to kill.
The first issue was printed and available for sale in fine comics retailers in 2007 while respective issues following were released to fans online, but we're proud to have the first three issues available for download for FREE right now! The long-awaited fourth issue which intended to finish off the introductions remains unreleased, but we promise more will be revealed about the futures of Only in Dreams and Angel XRC soon!
