You know that city that never sleeps? This is the comic shop that never sleeps. Believe me, we've seen their monthly intake of Starbucks product and it's absolutely frightening. If Midtown doesn't have it, nobody does. And if you call 'em on it, they'll toss you out onto 7th Avenue. 760 S. Colorado Blvd Denver, CO (303) 691-2212 www.milehighcomics.com Back in the day, Troy used to be out in the middle of nowhere Colorado and had to beg his parents to drive him to "that comic book shop by Celebrity Sports" to get his NOW Comics fix. The Denver location still remains there to this day, and Troy's hometown still remains local comic shopless... then again, there's only one stoplight there and a John Deere retail store, so there's still hope. Things From Another World (California, and Oregon) Nestled safely in the corner over by the Jurassic Parking, the Things From Another World retail shop is a haven for locals and turistas alike. One of the busiest comic shops we've seen in a long long time with one of the most reputable and sleek websites out there.
If you'd like to be amongst friends, drop us a line and let us know. Because the one thing we learned from junior high school is that being shy doesn't get you friends or ladies... it gets you stuffed in a locker during team sports. |
