FRIENDS OF SPT!

These are the shops that are kind enough to allow us to loiter and occasionally buy from them. If there's a comic book heaven, it's your local comic shop... and it's filled with super hot fanbabes.

Graham Crackers Comics (Plainfield, IL)

(815)254-3410
(and all other locations!)

Editor-in-Chief and President Troy Benjamin's long-time paper crack supplier. It's no coincidence that his best friend and vice president Drew Drescher lives just around the corner from this store.

Fat Jack's Comicrypt (Oaklyn, NJ)
521 White Horse Pike
Oaklyn, NJ 08107
(856) 858-3877

SPT Colorist Rob Smith and Fat Jack's manager Ervin proudly sport Hollywood's latest fashion accessory, the ultra-rare Still Playing with Toys Presents preview issue (#0 for you numbers people). This is Rob Smith's local haunt, you know, when the paparazzi allows him a break from voguing in front of the camera.

Cosmic Comics (Harrisburg, PA)
3814 Union Deposit Road
Harrisburg, PA 17109

Pencilist and inker Chris Enterline's local haunt. Ladies, look for him there if you're lucky he'll sign your book. If you're even luckier, there'll be a phone number on it!

BadgerComics.com (Milwaukee, WI)

Milwaukee, WI 53237-2461

Pre-Order Still Playing with Toys Presents #1 from them!

These crazy guys were kind enough to put a pre-order for our book out the minute it hit the August 2007 edition of Previews. So you know they have excellent taste.

House of Secrets (Burbank, CA)
1930 W. Olive Ave.
Burbank, CA 91505
818-562-1900
Website

Troy's local comic shop on the Hollywood side, House of Secrets is frequented by all the studio heads, executives, actors, and even the commissary cooks. Troy says: Let poor Paul have his mural on the side of the building!

The Comic Bug (Manhattan Beach, CA)
(Temporary Location) 1832 Manhattan Beach Blvd.
Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
310-372-6704
www.thecomicbug.com

If you're looking for one of the most laid back, coolest comic book shops on the planet, look no further than the South Bay's own Comic Bug. Jun and Mike run one of the best damn comic shops on the planet in one of the coolest areas on the face of the planet. Troy sheds a tear knowing that a giant stretch of 405 freeway stands between he and the Bug now...

Midtown Comics (New York "F'n", NY)
200 W. 40th St
New York, NY 10018
212-302-8192
www.midtowncomics.com

They pretty much need no introduction. You know that city that never sleeps? This is the comic shop that never sleeps. Believe me, we've seen their monthly intake of Starbucks product and it's absolutely frightening. If Midtown doesn't have it, nobody does. And if you call 'em on it, they'll toss you out onto 7th Avenue.

Mile High Comics (Denver, CO)
760 S. Colorado Blvd
Denver, CO
(303) 691-2212
www.milehighcomics.com

Back in the day, Troy used to be out in the middle of nowhere Colorado and had to beg his parents to drive him to "that comic book shop by Celebrity Sports" to get his NOW Comics fix. The Denver location still remains there to this day, and Troy's hometown still remains local comic shopless... then again, there's only one stoplight there and a John Deere retail store, so there's still hope.

Things From Another World (California, and Oregon)
71000 Universal Center Dr.
Citywalk #179
Universal City, CA 91608
(818)622-8464
www.tfaw.com
Pre-Order Still Playing with Toys Presents #1 from TFAW.com!

Nestled safely in the corner over by the Jurassic Parking, the Things From Another World retail shop is a haven for locals and turistas alike. One of the busiest comic shops we've seen in a long long time with one of the most reputable and sleek websites out there.

Your shop here!

If you'd like to be amongst friends, drop us a line and let us know. Because the one thing we learned from junior high school is that being shy doesn't get you friends or ladies... it gets you stuffed in a locker during team sports.

Some essential quick links for those of you too lazy to scroll down... unless you're like missing a hand or something, in which case we're sorry.
